Tim Loperfido is a writer of fiction from New Jersey. As a first-generation college student, Tim attended community college part time for six years before transferring to San Diego State University and majoring in English. Soon after, at New Mexico State University, Tim studied creative writing and earned an MFA in fiction. Now, he teaches writing at Penn State University.
